We need your support!!

Hey There!
Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays and staying warm!
We are in the middle of raising support for the upcoming year and we need help! We need to raise about $20,000 dollars together! This includes our airfare, tuition, and living expenses. Our tuition covers our dance and music lessons, equipment for training, as well as other company necessities that we need. By supporting us, you are supporting a bigger dream, and a bigger calling that we have for South Africa's Youth!

If you would like to be a part of this dream and calling to reach South Africa's Youth with the message of Christ's love and freedom, then please contact us at kayla.drew.13@gmail.com

We can only do this through your help and support, both financially and spiritually. Please pray and consider being a part of this dream! We need your help, and they need your help as well.

Thanks for a great year!

Hey Everyone!
We want our first blog to be a very special thankyou to everyone who suported us financially and spiritually this past year! When you give, You're not only giving to Drew and I...you're giving to the youth of South Africa! You're not just funding Drew and I, you're funding a bigger dream and a greater calling. You're funding Hope! Thankyou so much for supporting us as well as the vision we share to reach South Africa's youth and bring them the message of Christ's hope and healing! We are so grateful and apreciate you so much!

Here are some pictures of this past year to give a look at what we're upto!

This picture was taken in July during 13Floor's annual Gala Shows. For Gala we mix the casts from both teams, red and blue, to give our best performance possible. Drew played Dr. Russo in our show Wigs where I play his patient Kristen, a young girl who is dying of cancer.

This show takes on the issue of physical cancer as well as emotional and spiritual cancer tht also causes death in our lives. Kristen shares a room with a girl named Sarah who is in the hospital recovering from a car accident where she killed a woman and left her 5 year old girl without a mother. Kristen is dying of physical cancer which eventualy takes her at the end of the show, and Sarah is dying from the emotional cancer of not having a relationship with her parents and accidentally killing a woman. Kristen's body is dying, but she chooses to live as opposed to Sarah whose body is alive but spirit is dying. In the end of the show Kristen dies leaving behind a legacy of vhoosing life when you're really dying inside. We all have a cancer, but we all have a choice too. We can live victim to our cancer or live in victory because of our cancer.

This picture was taken early in the year as you can see that drew's hair is still short! :)

I took it during the Red Team's skyn of Lil'Me. Skyn is our word for dress rehearsal. When we finish learning our dances, drama, and music for a show we put it together in one day called Skyn. Skyn usually starts around 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning and can run up till 5:00 the folowing morning! We put the show together, then take a billion runs til we get it as close to perfect as possible! It's a long, hot, and tiring day...but it pays in the
end!

One of the highlights for Drew and I this year was going to Mozambique for outreach in June! It was amazing!
13Floor usually doesn't perform for outreach,we serve. But this year, our Mozambique team really felt the need for us to serve along side them and perform as well. So we transported our teams as well as all our equipment that we tour with to Maputu! There we performed in a very nice theater that didn't really seem to match the economic state of the rest of Maputu, but made it very nice for our performers. The people loved the shows! They hadn't ever seen anything like it before and were just amazed! The shows in Mozambique were also mixed cast, to give our best performances. So eachday we had a team that was doing a show and the rest were serving in the community. This picture of Drew is taken at shelter for children with AIDS. Our team spent the whol day there playing and loving on these beautiful kids! It was a blessing and heartache at the same time.
So, there's just a little piece of what Drew and I were upto this past year! We will post more pictures in the future. Again, we want to say thankyou so much for all of you who support Drew and I! We appreciate you and your generosity so very much! Thanks and God Bless!
